and Market Research
I began tattooing in 2001 while still in high school, learning the craft from a family friend and immersing myself in tattoo culture from a young age. My passion for the art form was instant and intense, paving the way for a lifelong commitment to tattooing.
As a firm believer in the entrepreneurial lifestyle, I balanced my career between tattooing and working in tattoo product manufacturing. In late 2020, I relocated to South Carolina to take my journey a step further into tattoo ink manufacturing. After helping one of the world’s largest companies achieve EU Product Compliance for tattoo inks, I gained extensive knowledge in pigments and inks, which I now apply in my tattoo work.
In 2022, I opened a private, luxury tattoo studio in the Ballantyne corporate area, nestled in the Halifax Square neighborhood of South Charlotte, NC. Our studio offers high-end amenities and is located near excellent hotels and travel conveniences, making it an ideal destination for clients traveling to the Queen City for a premium tattoo experience and a luxurious weekend getaway.
Hey, Y'all!
Hey, Y'all!
Hi, I’m Selina. I’ve spent over two decades immersed in the art of tattooing—blending creativity, technical precision, and a deep respect for the craft to create tattoos that truly mean something.
From the moment you walk into my studio, my goal is to make you feel welcome, heard, and confident about your tattoo journey. Whether you’re coming to me for a large-scale piece, a meaningful coverup, or fine cosmetic tattooing, I believe every tattoo should be more than just beautiful—it should be designed to last and feel like it belongs on your body.
My process is personal and intentional. I start by listening to your story, exploring your ideas, and mapping your design directly to the unique shape and movement of your body. This ensures your tattoo not only fits visually but moves and ages gracefully over time. Every consultation is a true collaboration—an opportunity for us to create something that resonates with you on every level.
Beyond my work in the studio, I’m a global advocate for tattoo safety and ink quality. I partner with manufacturers, regulators, and fellow artists worldwide to improve product standards and protect both artists and clients. That means when you sit in my chair, you can trust that every pigment, every product, and every technique meets the highest level of safety and compliance.
Tattooing, for me, is about more than art—it’s about trust, connection, and legacy. I see every tattoo as a piece of living art that tells your story, and I’m honored every time someone chooses me to help tell it.
When I’m not tattooing, you’ll probably find me elbows-deep in pigment science, designing new inks, or working on educational projects to elevate the industry I love. My studio is my second home, and when you’re here, I want you to feel like part of the family.
